Data controller
Turan Makina Plastik Boru Sistemleri A.Ş. (Turan Makina / Borfit) is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and enquiries sent to the company. Address: Sanayi Mah. Adıgüzel Sok. No. 6 Kurtköy, Pendik, İstanbul, Türkiye. Email: info@turanmak.com. Telephone: +90 (216) 595 0751.
Scope and website visits
This notice covers corporate website visits, privacy and language preferences on your device and enquiries emailed to the company. The website does not offer account registration, payment or online order placement.
Delivering a page to your device requires your IP address and browser request information to reach the hosting infrastructure. Depending on server configuration, access and security logs may be generated. To show the matching language version, the server derives only your country from your IP address; this is not stored separately. These operations serve website delivery, availability and security, relying on necessary legitimate interests that do not prejudice your rights and freedoms (Article 5(2)(f)), and a legal obligation where specifically applicable (Article 5(2)(ç)).
Enquiries: information, collection method and purposes
The contact form requires your name, email address, subject and message to prepare a draft. Company and telephone are optional. Fields remain in the page until you ask your email application to prepare the draft. The website has no form-submission server; the company receives your enquiry only if you send the email and it is delivered. Your email service may save or synchronise the draft under its own settings.
When received, your identity and contact details, company or representative information, message and correspondence are processed to answer questions, prepare requested quotations, evaluate distributor enquiries and provide requested support. Email headers and attachments you choose to send may also be received. Please send only information relevant to your request; do not include health information, identity-document copies or other sensitive information in a general enquiry.
Legal grounds
Enquiry handling and communications with business representatives rely on the necessity of processing for the controller’s legitimate interests in responding to requests and conducting business communications, provided this does not prejudice your fundamental rights and freedoms (KVKK Article 5(2)(f)). Where you personally are a party to a proposed or existing contract, necessary quotation and contractual correspondence relies on Article 5(2)(c).
Processing necessary to meet a specific legal obligation relies on Article 5(2)(ç); processing necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right relies on Article 5(2)(e). These grounds apply only where their conditions are met. Optional language persistence uses your consent under Article 5(1). Contacting us does not constitute consent to advertising or to unrelated processing. Reading this notice is not a consent declaration.
Recipients and transfers
To the extent necessary for the stated purposes, correspondence may be handled by authorised staff and service providers supporting company email, IT and communications. Information needed to obtain professional advice or protect legal rights may be disclosed to legal advisers, and information required by law may be provided to competent public authorities. Domestic disclosures must meet the conditions of KVKK Article 8. An enquiry does not automatically authorise disclosure to independent distributors for their own marketing.
Any transfer by the company to recipients abroad, including through a service provider, must satisfy KVKK Article 9 as well as the relevant processing condition. Where applicable, this requires an adequacy decision or an appropriate safeguard such as an applicable standard contract. Accepting language storage or sending an enquiry does not itself authorise an international transfer. You may contact us for information about recipients relevant to your enquiry.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for the period needed to handle the request and relevant follow-up. If correspondence forms part of a contractual, accounting or dispute record, the applicable statutory retention or limitation period and any necessary legal hold determine its retention. When the purpose and any other lawful retention grounds end, personal data must be deleted, destroyed or anonymised under applicable law. Browser storage has the specific durations set out in the cookies and storage notice.
Storage and external links
Necessary browser storage remembers your privacy choice; language persistence is used only if you allow it. No analytics or advertising tool is included in this version. Durations and controls appear on the cookies and storage page. The contact page does not load Google Maps automatically: the interactive map is embedded only after you click Show map, and the directions link contacts Google only when you follow it. Once loaded, the request is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. Your choices here do not control processing on other websites.
Your rights and requests
Under KVKK Article 11, you may ask whether your data is processed and request information; learn its processing purposes and whether it is used accordingly; learn the recipients in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where legal conditions are met and notification of correction or deletion to recipients; object to a result against you produced exclusively through automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Submit a signed written request to Sanayi Mah. Adıgüzel Sok. No. 6 Kurtköy, Pendik, İstanbul, Türkiye. You may also write to info@turanmak.com from an email address previously provided to the company and registered in its system, or use another method permitted by the Communiqué on Applications to the Data Controller. An ordinary email from an unregistered address may require verification or a valid application method. Include your name, surname, notification address, specific request, signature for a written application, and the identity particulars required by the Communiqué (Turkish identity number for Turkish citizens; nationality and passport or identity number, if any, for foreign nationals). Provide supporting information relevant to the request; avoid unnecessary document copies.
Requests are answered as soon as possible and within 30 days, normally free of charge; only fees permitted by the applicable tariff may be charged for additional costs. If a request is rejected, answered inadequately or unanswered, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board within the statutory time limits, generally 30 days after learning the response and in any event 60 days after the application. Judicial remedies remain available. Consent to language persistence can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie settings, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
