Turan Makina & Borfit is an engineering and manufacturing group specialized in connection elements and welding technologies for plastic pipe systems, combining polymer knowledge, production engineering and field experience under one roof since 1995.
From a workshop in Istanbul to a global connection ecosystem.
Turan Borfit's journey began in 1995 in Istanbul with a single purpose: producing polyethylene pipe welding machines and connection solutions for the infrastructure sector.
Over the years the product family grew into a complete ecosystem: PE100 fittings, electrofusion systems, injection and confection products, steel transitions, flange systems and professional welding equipment, all developed and manufactured under one engineering philosophy.
Today the company combines more than three decades of field experience with modern production technologies, R&D and a global sales organization, turning international field experience into continuously improved products.
1995
Founded in Istanbul; production begins in polyethylene pipe welding technologies.
2000s
Product range expands with butt fusion machines and connection solutions across diameters.
2010s
PE100 fittings, electrofusion and injection/confection solutions broaden manufacturing; international presence strengthens.
2020s
Investments accelerate in CNC controlled welding systems, quality infrastructure, R&D and the global sales organization.
Today
Turan Borfit continues to grow globally in PE pipe connection systems and welding technologies.
