PE 100 welding rod (electrode), Ø 4 mm, for our manual extruder welding machine.
| Apparatus | Used for |
|---|---|
| Manuel Extruder + PE 100 Electrode | Extrusion welding of PE / PP pipes and sheets on site |
| Pipe Cutting Machine (Ø 2200 mm) | Square cutting of PE / PP pipes up to PN 32 wall thickness |
| Pipe Scraper Tools (RASPA) | Surface preparation of pipes before electrofusion welding |
| Ovality Device | Rounding and clamping PE pipe ends that are out of round |
- Scrape or peel the welding zone and remove all dirt and oxide layer (RASPA scraper tools on pipe surfaces).
- Clamp and align the parts; use the ovality device to round PE pipes that are out of round before welding.
- Preheat the joint surfaces with hot air to the recommended welding temperature.
- Feed the PE 100 electrode (Ø 4 mm) into the manual extruder and extrude a continuous weld bead along the joint.
- Let the weld cool without stress before the assembly is loaded or tested.
